Star Walk for Kids - Whetu haere ma nga Tamariki
4pm — 7pm
Kidtropolis, 1/1 Cross St
All children are invited to celebrate Matariki with a fun filled Star Walk through Kidtropolis. Follow the stars to these exciting activities:
- Colour your own Matariki Star in the art room and enter the competition for Best Star
- Watch a short film about Matariki in the movie room
- Explore the legends of Taniwha in the interactive room
- Sing along to Matariki Waiata in the music room
- Decorate your own Matariki themed cupcake to take home
- End your Star Walk with a Magic Show by the amazing Andy Wonder!
Free hour-long event – limited to 50 people per tour, and one adult per child.
