We're looking for a part-time social media manager.
Do you love Karangahape Road and want to see it thrive? We have an incredible spot open at the K Road Business Association for a passionate social media whizz.
We're looking for someone who has strong associations with K' Road, has a good understanding of Meta and potentially other social media platforms, is a confident copywriter and designer and has 10 to 15 hours spare a week. You will have support with creating promotional calendars, advertising strategies, posting best practice, budgets, artwork creation, and scheduling... but we're always open to new ideas and systems.
Criteria:
- A strong connection with Karangahape Road. Ideally you live or work in the area, but it's not necessary.
- Strong design skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- Good knowledge of:
- Adobe suite — particularly, InDesign and Photoshop
- Facebook and Instagram posting and advertising capabilities
- Planoly or similar scheduling software
- Google Workspace
The Role:
- 10 - 15 hours a week, roughly 2-3 hours per day Monday to Friday
- $28 - $35ph — negotiable depending on experience
- Flexible work hours
- Work remotely with (usually in person) weekly WIP meetings
